Made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, this Rosé is dedicated to Rosina, the maternal grandmother nicknamed Rosi, who was born in an area of Cellatica called ‘le Margheride’ (the daisies): hence her nickname, ‘Rosi de le Margheride’.
This vineyard is a small cru located on the ‘Cudula’, the top of the hill in front of the winery. The altitude of 300 metres, together with a particular exposure and ventilation, allows the Pinot Noir, characterised by small, tightly packed bunches, to ripen optimally.
The grapes are harvested in the first half of August and then vinified, leaving the must in contact with its skins for about ten hours, acquiring its characteristic cherry-pink colour with coppery hues.
Being a pure Pinot Noir, it reflects all the characteristics of this noble grape variety: “Rosi” is an elegant wine, characterised by hints of rose and red fruits, with a touch of vinosity that makes it full and captivating.
This Rosé boasts 24-30 months of ageing on its lees, which gives it interesting hints of bread crust while maintaining excellent flavour.
